Growing together with over 10,000 kids in Northern Manitoba for almost 70 years

Beginnings
The first summer of Midway Bible Camp (MBC) was July 1954 in Churchill, Manitoba! Seven young boys came to camp that summer, and learned some life skills, listened to some Bible stories and learned about a God who created them and loves them! The next summer, they moved across the river and set up the tents, doubling their attendance to 15!

Moving Around

After a brief time in Churchill, the camp moved to Gillam, and was there named Midway for the first time as it was mid-way on the rail line between Churchill and Wabowden. It remained there until 1966. The camp then moved to a remote site on Partridge Crop Lake, where campers and staff would have to take a train and then a boat to reach camp! Then after a brief time at Ospwagon lake, we eventually settled at our current location on the beautiful Moak Lake.

Now

Following Jesus is what we do and what we teach. Children, youth and families are still coming to Midway to learn life skills, listen to Bible stories and learn about a God who created them and still loves them!
